iOS Developer

JxB Queless is an iOS application designed to eliminate long queues at the Jakarta X Beauty (JxB) mega event. It enables attendees to browse brand catalogs, add beauty products to their cart, check out in-app, and simply scan a QR code at the booth to instantly claim their orders—bypassing the long physical lines entirely.

My contribution

I developed the iOS app features alongside the team, and I independently took full ownership of the brand-side application, building the entire interface and logic to enable brand booths to scan and process user claims efficiently.

Problem

““I want to buy my favorite makeup and skincare at the beauty expo, but the queues are so incredibly long that I end up exhausted and miss out on visiting other brand booths.””

User Needs

A fast and convenient way to purchase products at crowded beauty expo booths.

Constraints

Massive crowds, limited physical space for queues, and time constraints during the expo.

Internal Factors

High volume of concurrent physical transactions slowing down booth operations.

External Factors

Extremely high enthusiasm at events like JxB often results in overwhelming queues, causing customer fatigue.

Solution

A queue-less ordering ecosystem where attendees can pay in-app and receive a digital claim code, paired with a brand-side app to scan and fulfill orders instantly via an express lane.
